You call that junkmail?

Sick of receiving emails advertising sexual aids, hair regrowth and get-rich-quick schemes?  It's time to beat spammers at their own game.

Although it makes us laugh, we're not sure this will actually work.  Even worse, it could make the nation's mail carriers go postal.

If you decide to try it, let us know on our message boards!  If it works, we could be at the cusp of a new age of email freedom!  (And if it doesn't, you might want to avoid your postal carrier for a few weeks.)

Goalie rocks out; Team gets rocked

Who says soccer is a low scoring sport?  Not the players who participated in this game.

When the goalie of a Belgian women's soccer team chose to attend a concert rather than the big game, her teammates paid for it with a 50-1 whipping.

But is it totally fair to blame the absent goalie?  Supposedly, they had a backup keeper on the bench.  How bad must the second stringer have been to allow fifty goals?

The Rawker

Up until now, even with all of the rise-to-fame reality shows out there, it was still possible for true talent to go undiscovered.

Thanks to the Internet, that's no longer the case.

Now, no rocker has to toil in anonymity.  Just whip up a demo tape--even one that shows you shirtless, mulleted, and forgetting the lyrics to the songs you're singing--and post it to the web.  Then, sit back and wait for the offers to roll in.

We have to wonder if Nielsen has a plan to include pet viewing statistics in their reports. Some networks' ratings are low enough that they may benefit from counting dogs, cats, hamsters, and perhaps the occasional goldfish.
